Wow! :) I wonder if Marck is reading this one. <looking east towards
the UK across the Atlantic>

For the unwary, using the above macro as described, is not without
problems. If the user wishes to send a message to an e-mail address
within one of the TBUDL message bodies by double clicking on it, the
message will be addressed both to the list and to the intended
address as well.

The same goes for right clicking on an address in the header bar and
selecting, 'write a message to this address'. This could lead to
embarrassment or result in annoying readers when messages that
shouldn't be sent to list are in fact sent. Simple advice to check
the headers before sending is not enough since mistakes do occur in
that one forgets to or doesn't realize they need to check. The
potential for mistake is compounded by the fact that the tbudl
address will not be added under all circumstances in which you wish
to write a new message with the TBUDL folder in focus. For example,
if you select one of the Specials/Mailing List items, the message
will be addressed only that address. If you create new messages
using mailto: links outside TB!, it's the default template for the
default mailto account that is used. This inconsistency leads to the
increased possibility for the user overlooking the To: field check.

The best route would be to use a method that is mistake-proof.

Personally, I create an address book entry for the list and then
rely on the autocomplete. I generate a new message. The cursor is
now in the To: field. I type tbudl and let the auto-complete do the
rest. Done.

If you really don't wish to type tbudl and just hit the new message
button, then a modified version of the To: macro is better:

%IF:"%Toaddr"="":"%To='[EMAIL PROTECTED]'":""

If you use this macro, then this will prevent you from sending
messages to tbudl and other addresses together unless you expressly
add tbudl's address after the new message is generated.
