Thomas, I can't figure out how to abridge your fine comment any
further in order to reply to it.

Just wanted to say, that in my case, your explanation of threading
to a blundering newbie--as well as those of Marck and Peter Meyns and
any number of other helpful people on what IMHO is one of the greatest
lists I've yet encountered--was a godsend several weeks ago.
