And the Listers all prove to be very patient, explaining over and over,
as each newcomer appears.

These things are addressed in the Welcome to The List letter, but
until one is more familiar with the protocol, that language doesn't
sink into even a conscientious head in a practical way. (At least, it
didn't into mine.)

I wonder if that Welcome letter could be revised to put the two or
three things a Newcomer first wants to try, right up front--perhaps
even in the Netiquettely Rude Capitals or Bold.

Would you and Marck and Leif be open to doing that, Allie?
