Nope. Never had a reason to. I've had reason to prevent messages from
being auto-flagged as read when being viewed in the preview window but
not in a separate window. However, I've never wanted to completely
disable auto-read flagging.

I'm toying with the idea of making my PowerPro shortcut not only do a
<ctrl><alt><right arrow>, but to first do a <ctrl><m>.
That way, I could enjoy both worlds.
