Close TB and make a copy of the problem folder (I hope it's just one folder that causes the problems and I suspect that it's an inbox) to a safe location. Start TB Create a new folder Select all messages in your problem folder Move the selected messages to your new folder Your problem folder should be empty now Select your problem folder and compress it If that causes problems then close TB and delete the messages.tbb and .tbi files from your problem folder (with TB closed) Just in case you don't know how to locate the directory matching with your problem folder. Find your mail directory (options -> preferences -> system) (or opties -> voorkeuren -> Systeem) In your mail directory you'll find a directory for every account Every account directory has subdirectories for every folder in that account (directories for subfolders are nested too) To prevent this kind of problems in the future, you've got to 'purge and compress' regularly. (I prefer to do so on exit.) Don't let your folders grow too large, TB handles better with 100 folders with 1000 messages each than with one folder with 100000 messages. TB has a great sorting office, so let it sort everything to its own folder. -- Groetjes, Roelof WinErr: 001 Windows loaded.
