I just had tried adding it to AutoCorrect, but it won't let me -- the Add button is not available.
They say they care about the user experience, but I see little evidence of it in their help. Searching for space and period should have brought up something that is recognizable. Turns out that if we used "punctuation" as the search term, we'd have at least seen Spelling and Grammar at the top of the list. So they don't care that we don't know how they've classified the notion of spaces after punctuation. Technically, they are wrong to put it in the punctuation classification, because a space is not punctuation. They should be using the terms WE would use in addition to their wrong categorization of a space, but no.....
