The archive now has an updated version (0.92) of Stanislav Kneifl's
postscript slur package

Along with this, there is a new PMX beta 2.358 that incorporates more of the
functionality of the wonderful new slurs.

In fact they are so wonderful that I don't plan to provide any further
enhancements in PMX for font-based slurs/ties; from now on, if you want the
"good stuff," you'll have to use "Ap". For example, now true ties will be
activated by either "t" or "st" (they are shaped differently from slurs),
whereas with font-based slurs PMX will only use slur characters.
musixps.tex now provides the ability to switch halftie usage on or off (this
only affects the 2nd part of linebreak ties), and automatic height
adjustments on or off either locally (next slur/tie opened) or globally. In
the TeX package, the defaults are \Sluradjust\Notieadjust\halfties. However
I have decided to make the PMX defaults
\Nosluradjust\Notieadjust\nohalfties. As you'll see below, if you don't like
that you can change it globally in PMX with options to the "A" command.

This is still a beta release and subject to change. After a reasonable time
for feedback, bug reports, etc., I'll move on to Version 2.4 with a full
updating of the docs.

Here are the changes in PMX2.358:

With postscript slurs "Ap", set PMX defaults
\Nosluradjust\Notieadjust\nohalfties.

With postscript slurs, "t" or "st" gives true ties.

Allow curvature corrections "f","h","H","HH" at start of postscript slur.

Local postscript slur/tie options in slur/tie commands: p[+|-][s|t] for
[nos|s]luradjust,[not|t]ieadjust.

Global postscript slur/tie options: Ap[+|-][s|t|h] for
[Nos|S]luradjust,[Not|T]ieadjust,[noh|h]alfties.

Allow index on postscript ties "t[index]" or "s[index]t" NOTE! Cannot use
same index for slur and tie open at same time.

Bugfix: Corrects error when xtup starts with rest.

Bugfix: Add spacing for ornament ")" as if it were flag.

With "Ap", "st" slurs will become postscript ties.

Non-beamed xtup: option "a" in 1st note or rest of xtup, before "x".

Allow two text dynamics D"x" on same note.
