1. When I downloaded the pmx file at your url, I got an empty file. 2. The postscript file does look pretty awful. 3. When I process the file you quoted above, it works fine. 4. You don't need to \input musixps; PMX will do that for you when you issue "Ap". Have you downloaded the most recent musixps.tex, psslurs.pro, and PMX executable? Are they in the right places? Are you sure there aren't any other copies of any of these files lurking in other places? Have you updated your filename database? Beyond that, I don't know what more to suggest.
