Dear Sir, As you have addressed me in my personal Mail id (this [email protected]) I take it your remarks abour rooting for one member included me. Yes, I took exception to members' mothers being brought into a needless brawl but I did not stop there but also stated
No one comes out smelling Roses No one can claim any moral superiority And No one can claim he is innocent. That should explain my stand. I supported nobody and didn't condemn any one in particular. Even though I stated in my last Mail that it will be my last, I break that promise just to clarify to you because you served in the Army which I hold in very high esteem. If you don't think I am showing off, let me say that I include our Armed Forces whenever I perform any Archana or Homam. This habit of mine has raised a few eyebrows of the Kurukkals, and Sastrigals, besides those standing near enough to me who can hear my Sankalpam. At Kedarnath, the priest refused to accept any Dakshina ( he demanded a rather big sum initially) saying he cannot accept any Dakshina for an Archana (including a short Homam) which included our Armed forces. We sleep peacefully because we are aware that your tribe keeps awake 24/365 to ensure our safety.
