So you are using the POP mail servers provided by Hotmail. That means you are not using these extensions at all and you may uninstall the extensions.
You will be restricted to accessing only the Inbox from the Hotmail service (no custom folders can be accessed by the Hotmail POP service). If that serves your needs then you are all set.
