TiddlyWiki version 5 (a complete overhaul of the architecture of TW) is going to abandon the use of wikitext and will focus on providing a WYSIWYG editor backed by HTML formatted text. Wikitext will still be available but javascript code and plugins will not be compatible with the new version.
