Hi hpon, I personally think, that the core (empty TiddlyWiki) is allready big enough. Some say, it is too big and stick with a version prior to jQuery. And as you say. There are some possibilities (plugins) out there, that handle the situation quite well. So what ever is included into the core, will be wrong for someone.
Imo such functions should be plugins.
