Hi Mat, I applaud your vigour in attempting to stretch wikitext to it's limits but I think we might be at it's limit here (Jeremy?)
Like you, I am 'not a coder', but I think it might be easier for us to figure out the necessary javascript (and start to become coders!) than to look for a wikitext solution.
