It actually is that easy. You just need to start with a new PageTemplate. ... The reason, why it looks complicated is, that the TW UI was developed over 36 releases <https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/releases> now. A hell lot of improvements and new features have been added. Not speaking about the bug fixes ;) It's about 4+ years of development. .. And that's a lot of work, to do, if you want to start from scratch. So it's overwhelming, but it's an easy concept. Use the widgets and every single feature of them in the right way ;) eg: Language switching support, optional layout elements and so on, have improved the usability for the standard user. So we now have a "basic" layout for users but "basic" doesn't mean "it's simple for developers". ... No user cares if something is simple for developers. It needs to be simple for "end users" ... BUT With TW many "endusers" become "developers". That's cool! It makes TW unique. ... But it also means, that there is a very steep learning curve. .. If you want to start a new UI from scratch it means, you need to dig into the existing UI and understand, how Jeremy created the existing UI. IMO it's simple, but it's a looooooot of work. And that makes it look complicated. -mario -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
