Re Phosphoric acid,
My supply is an old bottle of Phosphorous pentoxide (P2O5) that was
used as a desiccant in a vacuum system.
It has hydrated from atmospheric humidity to form the "oily"
phosphoric acid, (H2P2O6 which in solution dissociates to H3PO4- and H
+),
and can be diluted in small quantities to any concentration. I have
used about one gram in the last 10 years.
It is sold as a rust converter, but as such may have other additives
like PVA glue.
Legend has it you can solder stainless steel with Coca Cola, but the
sugar and caramel make that unlikely.
A compounding pharmacy may be able to sell you some.
I hope that that helps,
Cheers, Neville Michie

Were do you obtain a small amount of phosphoric acid????
Also when I looked it up they said it was H3PO4. Doesn't sound like
the
same.
Is there a common use for it?

Hi
Next step would be to figure out what a reasonable ohms / foot number
is.

HP just wound two parallel wires around the cylinder. They

together... I think they used a crimp for the short.

Do you
make a 'twisted pair' and then wind that or just wind two parallel
wires around the cylinder?
