I was hoping to prove you wrong :-)

Some of pool servers are stratum 1 so I just checked status
logging here (at 30 min intervals) and see 2605 entries
for a stratum 1 server all having "*" out of total of
2605 entries for stratum 1.

It just happens that particular site is also short delay
and possibly using same hosting location as my isp.
