Your point was clear the first time. I understand that there are other things that you would like to see before database abstraction. Look at it from this perspective. If TInyERP were database independent it would take off like a rocket. Its market would be huge. And if there is ever any thought about having TinyERP use ADOdb, then now is the time to do this. Right now the codebase is still small enough that it could be done. To wait will mean that a good deal more code will be put into the base and a lot more modules will be developed/contributed and it will become all but impossible to do this any later. And to me that would be a critical missed opportunity for TinyERP.
