The trouble is that it's hard to tell if a system will do what I need until I jump into the middle of it and try to configure it. I'm also stuck with using an open source system because we have little money. I've got so much time invested in Open ERP I hate to ditch it.
At this point I can get either the quantity of each product in the Production Order correct or I can get the work cycles correct, but not both. Maybe I can create an intermediate product which is the amount of a certain product I need to mix. If I run a 350 lb match and need 150 lbs of an ingredient maybe I can make that an intermediate good. There has to be a way to do this.
