As somene who was schooled under the British educational system and who took
the British Commonwealth exams,I am curious if there are data re gender
about performances.Of coursse this would have to go back five or six decades
ago.
I took the GCE ,SC,and HSC exams.As far as I recall the boys got outstanding
grades.Boys went to all boys' schools and were taught by the Presentation
brothers
from Cork,Ireland.( The Presentation broehers are a bre a breakaway from the
Christian brothers)The girls went to all girls' schools and were taught by
the the Nuns of St.Joseph of Cluny. We never knew what the grade results for
the girls were. Anyway it will interesting to see Commonwealth results if
such exist.
