You raise some good obvious questions. I currently have my SA threshold set at 3. I probably don't want to go much lower. I have really enjoyed the ability of this combination to intelligently challenge my mail. That is, score my mail for spam probability and if it passes, deliver it, if it doesn't challenge it. I've found a growing number of spam messages that score well below 3 in SA and are getting through. Perhaps I should be thankful for the 150 to 200 others that it does stop each day.
