Dawn, I'm so glad you are hanging in there. You don't know how much I regret not being there with you... the last time I saw you that day, you were walking away alone, and had I even suspected you would have needed a million hugs not 20 minutes later, I would have never left you by yourself. I found out around 5:45 that evening, and the news hit me like a ton of bricks. The things we talked about that morning just keep on replaying in my head, and it still seems very surreal. By the sound of things, you are handling it much better than I would have... just goes to show how strong you are. But please accept 100,000,000 cyber hugs from me. :)
On Saturday, when you called my cell phone, it was the one day that I left it in the hotel and was using my sister's. We tried calling back, but for some reason the phone couldn't find any service. :( I debated on whether or not to actually cosplay as Harry after you left. But the others convinced me that I should. It also helped to know that your mom's talented hands were the ones responsible for my Gryffindor tie. :) Saturday was spent almost entirely in the HP panel... Which, btw, was almost entirely NOT HP! They showed the trailer that we've already seen online. But to make up for what they lacked in Potterisms, they had tons of guest appearances by many celebrities... the hobbits, arnold schwartzneggar (<-- is that like hard to spell?), etc. etc. etc. It was cool, but no HP stuff.... Rica... Okay, so you forgot to get Spork from me... I kinda forgot to take all his stuff to SD anyway. So, after I update his junk with SD memorabilia, I'll be sure to ship him off to you. ;) Actually, the only two I really got to say goodbye to were Bee and Brina. I'm sorry I missed the rest of you! I'll get to a full out and out report on the Con and SD, but that'll be later. I've got TONS of email to sift through, not to mention all the stuff I've missed on the forums! Oy...
