It's > during times like these that you truly come to understand who your > friends really are. I was in the Autograph Area with Bee and Kim in line for Virginia Hey when Leah and Erica came over to tell us the news. I immediately started to cry and the others just gasped and stared in disbelief. It struck me very hard, knowing before from what you told me when we were first driving down to San Diego. Kim tried to hold it in so that when she posed with Virginia, she wouldn't look like she was crying. Though, poor Viriginia got bumped from the next actor to take her booth so Kim didn't get her photo but did get an autograph at least. Afterwards, we left to go sit outside near the convention's gardens and that's when we all shared our sobs as one. > > I also want to thank Donna for being the friend that she's always been to > me. It was wonderful to have you to talk to on the phone, and I > appreciate you letting the list know what was up. Also to Brina and > Sharee and everyone else who mailed me cards, and to everyone > who sent emails and e-cards--I really appreciate it. Oh, you're very welcome. On Sunday, Bee wanted to go to Walmart to look for TMNT 1 on DVD and we stopped in the card aisle to pick one out for you. Mom and Chrisitne also wanted to say because they also felt awful about it. > > My mother was a great woman, and she will be greatly missed, but I also > know that she is always watching over me. :) Aww, yeah, she is. She will always be there for you even if it's not physically. > > Dave--I don't know if anyone managed to get a hold of you during the con, > and I apologize if they weren't able to do so. I was the one with your > number and the calling card, and I DID try to connect with people there, > but I wasn't able to do so. I'm not sure when that all happened but then again, it always seems tough to contact people when we get separated at the con. Phone-wise, too. It never ends with the phone tag game! > > I'm glad to hear that everyone had a decent time after I left, and I'm > anxious to hear about what I missed (especially the HP panel!!) ;) > > Dawn > Dawn, is your car still parked at the Wyndam Plaza? We thought about driving down there to get it. Mom would follow me in the Jeep while I drive it up to La Mirada to your house. You'd have to Fed Ex me the keys. It was just a thought because I wanted to make sure you got the car back. Haven't heard anything about it. Brinatello
