Well, to be honest, there's not much I can add that hasn't been said before. As with everything, there are two sides to the coin (three, if it's a trick coin *wink*).
On one side, you have the " This is a TMNT list, why should we care about anything else in anyone's life?" group... On the other, you have the "We're friends here...friends share." group. >From an official standpoint, there's nothing in the list rules that says we can't go off topic. When you're at work, do you only discuss things relating to the job? If you're playing a baseball game, do you only chat about the game? When you visit a hair stylist, do you only discuss your hair cut? I doubt it. So why should this list be any different? Friends chat, friends make conversations go off into tangents. It's the nature of communication. Very few people in the world communicate so effectively that they never go off subject. A suggestion, though, that might help matters...if you're going to post something off topic, why not put a little (OT) in the subject line (or, at the very least, in the first line of the email)? Then the folks that are here JUST for the TMNT news can skip that email. Hmmm...y'know, I haven't posted the list rules in a while...... Raph "> (learning tonight just how much fun acid reflux can be...blehhhhhh)
