Honestly, I don't feel the level of help we are getting would even make sense to have a roadmap. > Some ideas has recently been discussed on the mercurial mailing list, so it > would be good to see what you guys think are the primary goals for 2009. The easiest thing to do is probably is run through the TODO list to see what are the most-desired features and/or the lowest hanging fruit. As for 2009, my top 3 items are: 1. C++ shell-extensions, as it would appear to be only way to let us add some of the useful extension not supported by pythonwin32. As of now, I've the prototype working with overlay icons and context menu. 2. Add hgshelve/record extension support. I did some work on this few months back, but haven't spent much time with it since. 3. A decent documentation. > Are the TortoiseHg releases still dependent on feature completion, or will > it switch to time based releases like Mercurial? The time based releases requires a full-time crew. Given the amount of free time we have to invest in this project, and the level of help we are getting, I don't time based release will ever work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
