The new v0.9 is great, but does anyone else find the new UI features a bit
cluttered? I think new users might be intimidated.
Suggestions I'd make would be:
In changelog, change the Filter and Sync bars so they're either popups, or
entirely menu driven. I know they can be hidden, but I find myself constantly
hiding / unhiding. They don't add to the overall look of an otherwise great
window.
Maybe making the toolbar icons smaller, and only showing the words on tooltips?
(screen real-estate is getting tight with all this functionality!)
On status view, the text diff / hunk selection / commit preview tabs seem
largely superfluous. Can't we just have hunk selection as in 0.8?
I love the 'View MAR?!' feature, but perhaps it could be relabelled, ie 'View
status filters'?
