Many users _will_ run into this situation. But Logitech should have thought of that during the time that the Touch was in development. It will make sense to few people that a bus-powered USB drive that works when attached to virtually any computer or laptop fails to work with the Touch. But I also think we're getting ahead of ourselves. Many drives will work and I think most people are willing to find one that does.
