The size of the database could well be the main problem.I have a Drobo with about 1.3 Tb available.I am still in the process of ripping and have used about 130Gb so far,including a few 24/96 files.These play mostly with no problems,just an occasional delay at the start when the Touch buffers.16/44.1 play with no issues at all.I guess this will change as used space gets greater.
