I have the problem, too, but with MP3-files. I have a library of just below 20K-MP3-files on an external USB-HDD (bus-powered, but it is a 1,8" pulling _very_ little energy) with enough spare space for the library. I haven't managed to get a full scan yet (always cancels with a non-verbose error message), ran into problems with the internal server stopping for no (obvious) reason (stopping playback) and so forth. I can say that I managed to play a full album like two times - apart from that, it was a very unpleasant experience until now. Internet radio works like a charm, tho.
