Do you happen to have Microsoft Essentials installed? I had it a few months ago and it did not go well with Squeezeserve 7.5, causing very slow scans and other problems, something with the underlying mysql it seems (more to be found in the squeezeserver forum). Only solution was to uninstall Essentials and pick another AV program. Choice enough.
