The more I think about it (without trying a different DAC yet) I'm wondering if the difference I hear between the Touch and my CDP is more of a cumulation of everything...Ripping/Wireless/DAC/etc, etc besides JUST the DAC. I suspect a Mac Mini (or whatever) connected directly to a DAC and the stereo would sound closer to what I want.
