OTOH, after rereading the 'bug report' I see the issue MAY be related to something the Touch itself sends: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16641 Looks to me that setting Channel Status Word bit 2 to '1' (and maybe forcing bits 3-5 to 'zero') when 24 bit data is being sent should 'solve' the issue.
