I've been using DVD Audio Extractor to rip flac files in there native resolution from DVD-A discs I own, in stereo of course. I read in one of the forums, this one or AVS, That the SBT will play back DD or DTS files in 5.1 as long as they are decoded and ripped to flac. These files would be 24/48. I know optical or coax out can support this resolution, but hadn't read anything about the SBT being able to play multi-channel media. So I ripped Donald Fagen's The Nightfly in 5.1 24/48 and tried playing it through the SBT, but all I got was stereo in and out. Will the SBT support 5.1 as long as the Rez doesn't exceed 24/48 or 5.1 at all?
