also electrically a squeezebox is no different than any other source
that sports analog,spdiff and toslink so use whatever hifi or speakers
you would if listening to anything else, like a CD player.

PC's and PC speakers sports these 3,5mm "headphone" plugs everywhere
because they are small and cheap it saves space on the computer and
speakers.The signal is however fully compitable with what you connect
to any analog input on a norma stereo who has RCA plugs .

If you use the cheaper type of powered speakers " computer speakers "
you need a RCA to 3,5mm plug adapter to the Touch , You could use the
headphone out but it is of lower quality than the RCA out not that it
would matter on the typical " computer speaker ".

Note that most brands call their product something else than " computer
speaker " when the soundquality and consumer expectations are higher
