I guess the question is whether they claim it works with uac2 (which
windows does not include but osx does and linux does).  If teac claims
it works then I would hope this may.

If you do this - please ssh in when it is in the "DAC not connected"
state and then let me have the dmesg output.  It may be something simple
which is preventing it being detected.  However its difficult to
diagnose from afar.
