Can anyone suggest 4-5 steps I should try to optimize the Touch using a USB thumb?
I have red various articles and most are focused on streaming and not using the touch to uncompress/decode files. I want to use a thumb drive. So far, I have turned on the fixed volume control through the remote and used wav rather than flac files (so the touch doesn't have to convert/uncompress the file). What else should I try? I am willing to turn off the analogue output and internet connection. I would like to use the remote and the screen. Everything else is fair game.
