FLaC files do not stress the decoder. In fact, SB players deal very well with FLAC files (one could *almost* say the Squeezebox players are optimized for FLAC files). I use dbpa as well. I would NOT use the volume normalization DSP option. This actually modifies the audio itself rather than simply writing tag info for ReplayGain. The only use for the dbpa volume normalization dsp would be for making mp3 files to use in, say, a car stereo where the built in player doesn't have the ability to use replaygain or soundcheck values. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96383 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
