EDO adds actual,functionality may be worth the effort if you need 24/192 ( which you actually don't but that's another topic ) or a working USB audio output which is really good if you need it . On the topic , there is no " real " improvements to be had as the difference is not real IMO ? It should not exist in reality *if* not something is technically wrong or a setting is off between the comparisons . But if asked this same question in our audiophile forum, instead of the more general Touch forum , you can get answers more inline with the audiophile belief system . Avoid the soundcheck stuff ,endless tweaking and a life in a parallel reality is imminent , you will learn " truths " like that the OS of the server makes a difference ? Don't waste you time on such stuff enjoy the music instead :) Like the excellent tigerlilly my favourite Natalie Merchant album !
