Personally I think this will only add confusion to the entire ballgame.

What's against just naming the integration of Genshi 0.11, the workflow
integration 0.12, the setuptools fixing and whatnot 0.13. Numbers are cheap
and in this case less confusing than arbitrary suffixes like pre1, pre2, pre3,
undsoweiter.

Clear and unambiguous from my point of view. You only get a few faster
releases, which I don't see as a problem at all.
