What do you mean by "not correctly merged"?

On the datetime branch I on purpose tried to make as few changes as
possible, in order to simplify the merge,  we can always refactor
things later...

But I agree that it might be a good idea to merge genshi before
datetime since it would probably require less work and as you say, an
opportunity to (re)do things "genshi"-style.
