I just don't understand why everyone makes everything so hard. why not just use 
the back power port and tape the two cords together and not be trying to mode 
the gps and make it to where there might be a odd that a 130.00 gps will not 
work again. not trying to start any fights just my own opions and trying to 
understand people. it would be like me taking a OT2m apart and trying to add my 
own stuff to it when it isn't made for what I add to it and then the OT2m 
doesn't work and then I'm out of 95.00. its just like when my OT2m stopped 
working one day I didn't even try to take it apart at all, the first thing I 
did was ship it back to scott.

I thot the thing that triggered the FMI mode was the pinx to ground with the 
8.2K resistor at the side port??
