I think that GNOME's graphical frontend to network-manager might allow you to
change it persistently.
I use GNOME's graphical frontend...
This[1] should also work.
I will try that later.
Does editing /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and commenting out (...)
fix the problem?
I will break again my network connection and try right now. :-)
