1 - Since the TSS and TPM can use sockets, it is possible to test using 
a TPM on a separate platform running openssl 1.0.

2 - The blocker for the TPM side (1.2 and 2.0) may be saving and loading 
a hash context.  Unless openssl 1.1 provides an API for this, the only 
solution may be to reimplement the hash routines within the TPM.
