Blaine writes:  Hmmm, this is all very good Mormon doctrine, I think Kevin. Thanks for promoting Mormonism at its best.   If not for sex (married sex), your mother would not have had seed, nor your father.  You would not even be an afterthought.  Are you a married man?  If not then you need to get married.  The old symbol for woman was a V, and the symbol for the male was an inverted V.  Put the two together, and you have the star of David, which symbolizes spiritual and physical union of the sexes, the most important concept in ancient theology.  It is also a symbol representing the Messiah.  Jesus was a married man!!  Long live married sex!!  "The man is not without the woman in the Lord."  Married sex is ordained of God.  Unmarried sex leads to death and destruction, and is a tool of the devil.  You make Mormon theology on the subject of sex seem like there is no discrimination between married sex and unmarried sex.  Is this a deliberate deception on your part, or do you just not understand the difference?-----

Subject: [TruthTalk] Blessings of the FALL

Apostle McConkie, "It is not possible to believe in Christ and his atoning sacrifice, in the true and full sense required to gain salvation, without at the same time believing and accepting the true doctrine of the fall" New Witness Articles Faith, p. 82

IT WAS OBEDIENCE
"After they had thus complied with whatever the law was that brought mortality into being,..." and "He [Adam] chose the Lord's way;" NWAF McConkie pp. 86, 91

moral pragmatism
"...if Adam had not transgressed.... they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin....Adam fell that men might be;" BM 2 Nephi 2:22-23
men might be? The POWER of ETERNAL SEED!
SEX SEX SEX Why do cults always introduce sex into worship?

"Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient" PGP Moses 5:11
SEED SEED SEED - SEX SEX SEX
SEED SEED SEED - POLYGAMY POLYGYNY POLYGAMY
THIS IS ETERNAL LIVES!
Eternal Life through Sex
DS Smith v2 p9 "What is eternal life? It is to have a continuation of the seeds forever & ever"
Mormon Doctrine  p 321 "Godhood...etrnal increase"
"Lord makes clear that only through eternal UNION of man and woman can they achieve eternal life" Kimball MF p 81
vs 19b-20 "exaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the seeds forever and ever. Then shall they be gods, because they have no end; therefore shall they be from everlasting to everlasting, because they continue"

FALLING UPWARD?
Sterling W. Sill, First Quorum of Seventy:
This old sectarian doctrine, built around the idea of man's natural depravity and weakness inherited from Adam, is at the root of innumerable problems among us. Adam was one of the greatest men who has ever lived upon the earth.... Under Christ Adam yet stands at our head.... Adam fell, but he fell in the right direction. He fell toward the goal.... Adam fell, but he fell upward. Jesus says to us, "Come up higher" Deseret News, Church Section, July 31, 1965, p7
Is he saying this SIN stuff is the real ROOT of the problem?
ADAM the GREATEST MAN?
Is this where ADAM being god came from?

NOT A SIN
Under the heading, "'TRANSGRESSION' NOT 'SIN' OF ADAM," Mormon apostle and profhet Joseph Fielding Smith, Jr. wrote, "I never speak of the part Eve took in this fall as a sin, nor do I accuse Adam of a sin" Doctrines of Salvation, (DS), vol. 1, p. 114

"This was a transgression of the law, but not a sin in the strict sense, for it was something that Adam and Eve had to do!" DS V1 p. 115).

"The 'fall' of Adam and Eve was not a sin but an essential act upon which mortality depends" Smith, Answers to Gospel Questions, v5, p. 15
IT WAS A BLESSING!
Pres & Profhet - Joseph Fielding Smith said "the fall of man came as a blessing in disguise, ... I never speak of the part Eve took in this fall as a sin, nor do I accuse Adam of a sin.... it is not always a sin to transgress a law" Doctrines of Salvation (DS), vol. 1, pp.114-15

"We can hardly look upon anything resulting in such benefits as being a sin, in the sense in which we consider sin" Smith, DS, vol. 1, p. 115

"Properly understood, it becomes apparent that the fall of Adam is one of the greatest blessings ever given of God to mankind" McConkie, NWAF, p. 87

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
What a Blesing! Praise God from whom all Blessings flow!
