DAVEH:  My latest comments are in BLUE......

There are no direct quotes stating the 'god' of Mormonism was a sinner.

DAVEH:  Kevin.....I want you to recognize that the JofD are not considered to be scripture, and that personal opinion can be found therein.  This is a good example......"perhaps"......of a General Authority offering his opinion.
once a child, and mortal like we are, and rose step by step in the scale of progress, in the school of advancement; has moved forward and overcome, until He has arrived at the point where He now is" Journal of Discourses 1:123
Mortal means capable of Death.
DAVEH:  Yes, I agree.  I assume you believe Jesus was mortal....?
 Why are you mortal?'
DAVEH:  For several reasons.  I can explain them, but since you already believe you understand LDS theology, that should not be necessary.  For the sake of this discussion though, my mortality means that my spirit will separate from my body upon death.
 What did he OVERCOME?
DAVEH:  Jesus overcame death, and made it possible for me to do the same through the resurrection.
1976 LDS manual "Achieving a Celestial Marriage, "... our Father in heaven was once a man as we are now, capable of physical death." p132
DAVEH:  Hmmmm......I wonder if that has anything to do with Jesus saying, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."  (Jn 5:19)
Apostle Bruce McConkie "The Father is a glorified, perfected resurrected, exalted man who worked out his own salvation by obedience to the same laws he has given to us so that we may do the same" A New Witness for the Articles of Faith, p 64
To be resurrected this god must have DIED!
If he needed to work out his salvation he must have been LOST!
He must have been a SINNER, cause he was LOST & DIED. ("wages of sin is death" Rm 6:23)
Jesus did not work out his own salvation!
"Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?" John 8:46 Apostle Bruce R. McConkie wrote, ". . .the process of gaining salvation is one of cleansing himself from sin. . ." MD p 536
Since the god of mormonism worked out his own salvation he must have cleansed himself from sin. A god who was once a sinner, struggled with sin, the world, and the devil.
These ideas are EXTREMELY REPULSIVEThe One & ONLY TRUE God of the Bible
Was ALWAYS God Ps 90:2 "from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God"
Is HOLY JUST & PURE, was never never ever a SINNER!
PS 111:9 "holy and reverend is his name"
