 I am a Trinitarian.  Again, let us not pretend the doctrine
of the Trinity is somehow laid out bare and easy to see in Scripture.
The church reflected for centuries on the topic before advancing to the
views articulated by the Cappadocian Fathers (the Gregories and Basil
the Great).

jt: There is no doctrine or even the word 'trinity' in scripture.
However, the word Godhead is used to mean the same thing
and you can find all three members of the Godhead in the OT
scriptures way before the Cappadocian Fathers.
