What do you mean by saying that there is no difference?

Did the following man have it right?

John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

If the above passage is correct, wouldn't that mean that there is some kind of difference? Also consider the following distinctions made in Scripture between the righteous and the unrighteous:

Proverbs 10:24-32
(24) The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
(25) As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
(26) As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
(27) The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
(28) The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
(29) The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
(30) The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
(31) The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
(32) The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

So what do you mean by saying that there is no difference in the Lord's eyes?

Maybe you mean that God brings some blessings upon all equally, as the following passage teaches?

Matthew 5:43-48
(43) Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
(44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
(45) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
(46) For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
(47) And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
(48) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

While this is true, it does not mean that God views them all the same. It does not mean that in the Lord's eyes, there is no difference. Rather, this very passage, while indicating how the sun and rain falls on both the evil and the good, seems to press the point that God does indeed want us to be different, to be perfect, to be as perfect as our heavenly Father! Hmmm. I like that.

Peace be with you.
