Hmmm. Fun read. As for my take, I thought all of them were crap when they were first released - although occasionally enjoyed the pulpy aspects of the original "Battlestar," mostly because I found it amusing that the voice of the shadowed Imperious Leader was obviously Patrick "John Steed" Macnee of "The Avengers," a classy, droll show I still revere. And yes, Valerie Bertinelli was pretty damned cute back in the day (and back to MILF-iness since the dieting, I'd say). As for the disdain you seem to express towards the terrific, thoughtful update of "BSG," I can only shrug and lump it in with your hatred of Alec Baldwin as another of life's inexplicable oddities.
