I missed episode 2, but just watched episode 3.

The History website seems to only keep the last new episode online (others are
available via iTunes), so that link will probably rot on Monday (tomorrow) when
they post tonight's new episode.
This episode has the $1,000 car challenge that was used in at least one show
promo earlier this year. Maybe just because of the challenge, but I'd consider
this episode a marked improvement over episode 1. Two points do not make a
trend, so YMMV.
