Supposedly, in the "Sopranos" era, DirecTV would get a noticeable amount
of their subscribers adding HBO each Sunday afternoon and dropping it each
Monday morning. Their system would only charge a prorated amount for each
day's worth of an HBO subscription.

(There's now a minimum charge of one full month for premium services.)
