Gail, What I do, is wind from the balls of yarn, hole by hole - I find that it's much easier warping them directly on the inkle loom, than trying to cut all the ends and then warp.
But, I find that I pick patterns that allow me to avoid doing that - I like the faster continuous technique! Michael
